【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandarddefinesthemeanstobeusedtocathodicallyprotectthesubmergedmetallicsurfacesofsteeloffshorefloatingstructuresandappurtenancesinseawaterandsalinemud.1StructuresThisEuropeanStandardcoversthecathodicprotectionoftheexternalsurfaceofoffshorefloatingstructureswhicharestaticduringtheirusualoperatingconditions.Thisessentiallyincludes:barges,jack-ups,semi-submersibleplatforms,storagetankers,buoys,etc.Italsocoversthesubmergedareasofappurtenances,suchaschains,attachedtothestructure,whenthesearenotelectricallyisolatedfromthestructure.Itdoesnotcoverthecathodicprotectionofships,fixedoffshorestructures,elongatedstructures(pipelines,cables)orharbourinstallations,whicharecoveredbyotherstandards.ThisEuropeanStandardconcernsonlythecathodicprotectionofexternalsurfacesimmersedinseawater,includingseachestsandwaterintakesuptothefirstvalve.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotincludetheinternalprotectionofsurfacesofanycomponentssuchasballasttanksandhullinternalsoffloatingstructures.2MaterialsThisEuropeanStandardcoversthecathodicprotectionofstructuresfabricatedprincipallyfrombareorcoatedcarbonmanganesesteelsAssomepartsofthestructuremaybemadeofmetallicmaterialsotherthancarbonmanganesesteels,thecathodicprotectionsystemshouldbedesignedtoensurethatthereisacompletecontroloveranygalvaniccouplingandminimiserisksduetohydrogenembrittlementorhydrogeninducedcracking(seeEN12473).ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcoverconcretestructures.3EnvironmentThisEuropeanStandardisapplicableforthewholesubmergedzoneinseawater,brackishwaters,salinemudwhichcannormallybefoundwherethefloatingstructureisanchored,mooredormoving.ThisEuropeanStandardisalsoapplicabletoappurtenanceswhichmaybeincontactwithmuds(e.g.chains).Forsurfaceswhicharealternatelyimmersedandexposedtotheatmosphere,thecathodicprotectionisonlyeffectivewhentheimmersiontimeissufficientlylongforthesteeltobecomepolarised.4SafetyandenvironmentprotectionThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcoversafetyandenvironmentalprotectionaspectsassociatedwithcathodicprotection.Therelevantnationalorinternationalregulationsshallapply.
