【摘要】:Thistestmethoddeterminestheresistanceofpolyethylenematerialstoslowcrackgrowthunderconditionsspecifiedwithin.Note1ThistestmethodisknownasPENT(PennsylvaniaNotchTest)test.Thetestisgenerallyperformedat80Candat2.4MPa,butmayalsobedoneattemperaturesbelow80Candwithotherstresseslowenoughtoprecludeductilefailureandtherebyeventuallyinducebrittletypeoffailure.Generally,polyethyleneswillultimatelyfailinabrittlemannerbyslowcrackgrowthat80Cifthestressisbelow2.4MPa.Thetestmethodisforspecimenscutfromcompressionmoldedplaques.SeeAppendixX1forinformationrelatingtospecimensfrompipe.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60761isapplicabletoequipmentintendedforsimultaneous,delayedordiscretesequentialmeasurementofradioactivenoblegasingaseouseffluentsdischargedintotheenvironment.Itisapplicabletoradioactivenoblegaseffluentmonitorsintendedtofulfillthefollowingfunctions:-themeasurementofthevolumicactivityofradioactivegasesinthegaseouseffluentsatthedischargepointanditsvariationwithtime;-theactuationofanalarmwhenapredeterminedvolumicactivityorapredeterminedtotalreleasedradioactivityisexceeded;-thedeterminationofthegasactivitydischargedoveragivenperiodand/orinformationonthecompositionofamixtureofdifferentgasesinthedischarge.Radonisanaturalradioactivenoblegas.Itsmeasurementisnotincludedinthisstandard.Thepresenceofradon,oritsdecayproducts,mayinterferewiththemeasurementofother(artificial)radioactivegases.Theobjectofthisstandardistolaydownspecificstandardrequirements,includingtechnicalcharacteristicsandgeneraltestconditions,andtogiveexamplesofacceptablemethodsfornoblegaseffluentmonitors.Thegeneralrequirements,technicalcharacteristics,testprocedures,radiation,electrical,mechanical,safetyandenvironmentalcharacteristicsaregiveninIEC60761-1.Unlessother-wisestated,theyapplytothispart.
