【摘要】:Thismethodisfordeterminingcyanideinaqueoussolutionsinthepresenceoflargequantitiesofsulfide.Thelowerlimitofdetectioninthepresenceof1.0%or0.1%sulfideis0.2or0.02mass-ppmcyanide,respectively.Theupperlimitofdetectioncanrangefrom200ppmto10,000ppmcyanidedependingonthesizeofthesampleselectedforanalysis.Thiosulfateabovealevelof0.1%willinterferewiththetest.Significantamountsofsulfite,thiocyanate,aldehydes,aminesandothermaterialscanalsointerferewiththeanalysis.Theinstabilityofcyanideinthepresenceofairrequiresthattheanalysisbeperformedassoonaspossibleaftersampling.
