【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesameansofmeasuringthesoundisolationbetweentheinteriorofaclosedroomandlocationsoutsidetheroom,andalsothebackgroundnoiselevelsatthelocationsoutsidetheroom.Theresultscanbeusedtoratethedegreeofspeechprivacy,ortoestimatetheprobabilityofspeechbeingintelligibleoraudibleateachreceivingpoint.Peoplespeakatdifferentlevelsandvarytheirvoicelevelinreactiontoroomnoiseandotheracousticalfactors.Consequentlyitisnotpossibletosaydefinitelywhetheraroomisprotectedagainsteavesdropping.Onecanonlyassignaprobabilityofbeingoverheard.Theownersormanagersoftheclosedroomunderconsiderationmustsetcriteriaforthisprobabilityaccordingtotheirspecificgoalsandcircumstances.Thenon-mandatoryappendixgivesanapproachtosettingcriteria.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesatestprocedureformeasuringthedegreeofspeechprivacyprovidedbyaclosedroom,forconversationsoccurringwithintheroom,andwithpotentialeavesdropperslocatedoutsidetheroom.1.2Thedegreeofspeechprivacymeasuredbythismethodisthatduetothesoundinsulationoftheroomstructurethewalls,floor,ceilingandanyotherelementsoftheroomboundariesandtothebackgroundnoiseatlisteningpositionsoutsidetheclosedtheroom.1.3Potentialeavesdroppersareassumedtobeunaidedbyelectronicorelectroacousticequipment,andnottouchingtheroomboundaries.Determinedeffortstoeavesdroparenotaddressed.1.4Themethodmaybeappliedtoanyenclosedroom,whetherspecificallyintendedtobeprotectedagainsteavesdroppingornot.1.5Themethoddoesnotsetcriteriaforadequatespeechprivacy.Anon-mandatoryappendixprovidesguidanceonhowtheresultsofthistestmethodmaybeusedtoestimatetheprobabilityofaneavesdropperbeingabletounderstandspeechoutsideaclosedroom,andhowtosetcriteriaforsuchrooms.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
