【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardprovidessuggestedguidelinesforfourtemperatureandhumiditymacroenvironmentsforarchivesthatcontainavarietyofrecordingmedia,basedonthecorrespondingISOstoragestandardsforthosemedia.Wheneverpossible,itisadvisabletofollowthestorageenvironmentsintheISOstoragestandards.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotreplacetheseISOstoragestandards.Inadditiontoenvironmentrecommendations,thosestandardsalsoincludeothervitalinformationpertinentforthelong-termkeepingofrecordingmaterials,suchasinspection,housing,andhandlingguidelines.Althoughmicroenvironmentswithinastorageenclosurecanbedependentuponthemacroenvironment,theyarenotthefocusofthisInternationalStandard.ThestorageoftraditionalpapercollectionsisnotwithinthescopeofthisInternationalStandard.However,manyarchivescontainingmixedrecordingmediaalsoincludesuchcollections.Archivistsareencouragedtoreviewtheappropriatestandards(seeReferences[1]and[2]intheBibliography)forthosematerials.Nitrate-basephotographicfilmsarealsoincludedinthisInternationalStandard,sincetheyareoftenstoredtogetherwithothermaterialsinspiteofthefactthatnitratefilmsrepresentafirehazardandtheyneedtobestoredinaccordancewiththeNationalFireProtectionAssociationstandard[3]intheUnitedStates,orotherapplicablenationalstandards.Moreover,fumesfromdecomposingnitratefilmandacetate-basefilmcanhaveverydetrimentaleffectsonothermaterialsstoredinthesamearea.[11]Itisnecessarytoisolatesuchfilmsinaseparatestoragearea.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesforthequalitativeandquantitativedeterminationofcommonanionsinenginecoolantinthemilligramsperlitretolowpercentrangeandrequiresonlyafewmillilitresormicrolitresofsamplepertest,withresultsavailableinlessthan30min.Acceptablelevelsofchlorideandotheranionsvarywithmanufacturer’blendingspecificationsandapplicableASTMminimumormaximumspecifications.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthechemicalanalysisofenginecoolantforchlorideionbyhigh-performanceionchromatography(HPIC).Severalothercommonanionsfoundinenginecoolantcanbedeterminedinonechromatographicanalysisbythistestmethod.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletobothnewandusedenginecoolant.1.3Coelutionofotherionsmaycauseinterferencesforanyofthelistedanions.Inthecaseofunfamiliarformulations,identificationverificationshouldbeperformedbyeitherorbothfortificationanddilutionofthesamplematrixwiththeanionsofinterest.1.4Analysiscanbeperformeddirectlybythistestmethodwithoutpretreatment,otherthandilution,asrequiredbythelinearrangesoftheequipment.indicatesseveralapplicableanionsandapproximatedetectionlimits.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortoitsuse.
